OK, I have an update of three videos that should bring a nice chuckle to your day. I’m always in the mood to entertain and there is not a day that goes by that I do not put a smile on my parents face with some new antic. Here are some of my latest accomplishments…
1. When I was very young, maybe 4-6 months old, my dad’s good friend Dr Paul Ufberg came by with his wife Jordy and their three children Jack, Ella and Charley. When Dr Paul was down here, I observed his habit of walking around while talking on his phone. This is my best impression of him, using my Mom’s phone.
2. Recently, I have tried to move away from these childish sippy cups. I’m still learning, but Mom is giving me tiny sips of water from a glass. Yes, I know I knock my teeth against the glass. Yes, I know I stick my tongue into the water. Yes, I know most of it dribbles down my shirt. Deal with it!
3. Lastly, my walking has really improved. Gone are the days of Frankenstein arms to balance. That was so last week. Now, I’ve moved on to climbing stairs. I’m well aware that each stair reach’s my waist, but that has not stopped me from walking up the stairs one step at a time, with a little help from Dad.
It is a new year so I wanted to add some new videos of some accomplishments…
A video of my first tentative steps. Not running the Boston Marathon yet, but soon.
Here I am using a kitchen chair to act as my “walker”. Why my parents by these toys and gadgets to aid in my walking is beyond me, this works fine!
Last, but not least, the newest thing I learned is to avoid getting all that nasty soapy water in my face when Mom washes my hair. Here is a video of my lean-back technique.
It was bed time for me a couple of nights ago and my late nap gave me a extra little burst of energy. So, wearing some sweet new moose pajamas, Dad got some pictures before I went down for the night. Enjoy!
I’ve had a tough last couple of months and I am only now getting back to normal. I seem to catch everything and anything at daycare and Mom and Dad have now removed me from it. In home care starts in December and I’m looking forward to not getting sick as often.
Now that I am feeling better, my overall personality is much better. I’m laughing, not crying as much and generally have a very positive disposition, as you can see here.
Also, as a reminder, be sure to check out my Height and Weight chart at the top of the page. I just made a visit to the doctor for my 9 month checkup (everything was fine).
First, I must apologize for the lack of posts. I’ve had a tough last few weeks and I simply have not been in the mood for fun pictures or videos. I got sick about 3 weeks ago and was not feeling my best. I also got two more teeth in (that makes six!) so the whole teething thing has been pretty rough on both my parents and me.
Just last week, I was diagnosed with another ear infection (third in two months) and I was also diagnosed with a Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection. This infection has led to a lot of coughing, trouble sleeping and just general misery.
That being said, I’m feeling much better now. I’m looking forward to spending Halloween with my Aunt Trish because Mom and Dad are attending a wedding. Just to let everyone know I’m doing much better, this video should calm everyone’s fears! Should have many more videos and pictures of some new accomplishments, including my crawling, some early steps and my first pair of shoes! So exciting…For now, enjoy this video.
Sounds like the start of a bad joke, doesn’t it? The video camera has been getting a work out lately. I’m not sure if that is because dad has been lax with charging the DSLR batteries or what, but that darn black brick seems like it comes out all the time. So here are the latest videos…
Video of me and my first time on the Johnny Jump Up that Aunt Trish gave me. Excuse the bathroom shot, it is the only door way that has trim.
Video of me clapping and pulling my bib off, something I thoroughly enjoy doing as of late.
Last, but not least, Dad catching me snoring because my nose is clogged from a slight cold I caught.
My Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike flew in special to see me from San Jose, CA. I was the only reason they came in. It wasn’t for friends, family, birthdays, their anniversary or anything like that. It was for me and me only. So, the camera came out to capture the memories.
Please note, dad and I did not discuss shirt colors on the morning these pictures were taken. I had the yellow on before him.
I also got a bath before Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike arrived. I’ve become quite adept at splashing in the bathtub. Mom needs a towel after I’m done with her.
I got dragged out to the Jersey Shore, Avalon specifically, to hit the waves. I met up with some of Mom and Dad’s friends who were renting a place and we hit the sand. My first experience with the water was not the best, the water is still quite cold. But, subsequent dips resulted in much fewer tears.
