There are several sets of pictures here, spread out over the course of about 3 weeks. The first bunch is from my visit with Aunt Tricia and Uncle Robb.
The second bunch is when my dad was feeling particularly creative and pulled out a mirror for me to sit on. I’m really enjoying the mirror, in fact it has found a semi-permanent location near my crib so I can check myself out before going to sleep.
The third set is the inaugural walk with my new child carrier/back pack. I really enjoyed taking a walk like this, although my parents legs were hurting the next day. As you can see, I am able to fall asleep just about anywhere.
Sounds like the start of a bad joke, doesn’t it? The video camera has been getting a work out lately. I’m not sure if that is because dad has been lax with charging the DSLR batteries or what, but that darn black brick seems like it comes out all the time. So here are the latest videos…
Video of me and my first time on the Johnny Jump Up that Aunt Trish gave me. Excuse the bathroom shot, it is the only door way that has trim.
Video of me clapping and pulling my bib off, something I thoroughly enjoy doing as of late.
Last, but not least, Dad catching me snoring because my nose is clogged from a slight cold I caught.
Dad took some new videos of me over the past few days. The first is my new gizmo called an Exersaucer. I really enjoy bouncing up and down and playing with all the various activities. Note the flow of drool down my neck.
The second video is the one I’m most proud of. I have recently learned that my hands are attached to my body. It turns out, if I hit my hands together, it makes a great noise. Also, everyone around me seems to get very happy when I hit my hands together. So, for obvious reasons, I hit my hands together as much as possible. Not because I like the sounds, but more because it seems everyone else enjoys it.
Dad came home a bit early from work today and I was in a particularly good mood. So, out came the camera. I’m now 6 months old. I am able to stand with some help and I have really love clapping.
Dad finally got the new pool liner in, filled with water and ready to swim. The water was a bit chilly for my taste, but I got used to it pretty quickly and enjoyed doing some laps.
So, this new girl arrives in daycare. Really cute. I scoot over to her and I’m laying on my “A” game pretty heavy. I’m smiling, turning over on my stomach, you name it.
She is loving it. She is gooing, drooling, she even spit up a couple times. I figure I got this wrapped up. I ask her if she wants to join me on the Boppy in the corner.
She’s hesitant. I tell her, “Baby, baby, I’m clean. I just got my shots. I’m breastfed. What are you worrying about?” Finally, after like 15 minutes of begging, we play a little game of hands, foot & mouth. It’s all the rage. All the 6-month olds are doing it. Well, that’s the last time I do it. What a mistake!
My Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike flew in special to see me from San Jose, CA. I was the only reason they came in. It wasn’t for friends, family, birthdays, their anniversary or anything like that. It was for me and me only. So, the camera came out to capture the memories.
Please note, dad and I did not discuss shirt colors on the morning these pictures were taken. I had the yellow on before him.
I also got a bath before Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike arrived. I’ve become quite adept at splashing in the bathtub. Mom needs a towel after I’m done with her.
