Sorry for the delayed pictures of winter and Christmas 2011. It has been a crazy few months around the Tobin house and I just have not had a chance to get these pictures uploaded. I had a great time this holiday season and I’m looking forward to 2012 and my third year on this planet!

We have a small dairy farm named Merrymead Farm that is a quick 45 minute drive away. Mom, Dad and I met up with Uncle Mike, Aunt Beth and Baby Emily to enjoy some pumpkin picking, face painting, bouncy rides and hay rides. Good stuff!

Mom, Dad and I took a trip to the Strasburg Railroad. I had a great time riding on this steam engine in the open air on a beautiful 80 degree day.

Mom, Dad, Blair, Liz and I all went to Linvila Orchards to do some apple picking. I picked out some good ones for a future apple pie. I also got to ride on a small train that is on the property.

I had my 1st Birthday Party on Sunday February 14th, just 2 days before my actual birthday. I had a great group of friends and family to help me celebrate. The gift giving was very generous as was the icing on the cake. Note the great job my Aunt Beth, Aunt Trish and Mom did on those Sesame Street cupcakes! Jealous?

Mom decided to dress me as a spider this year for Halloween. Unfortunately, my parents had to attend a wedding so I got to spend my first Halloween with Aunt Trish. This was also my first overnight stay at a strangers house and I did fine.
Aunt Trish also has a bulldog puppy, Oliver. He was not happy with my arrival and I think he was glad to see me go home. In any case, pictures of both Oliver and my costume below.
So, two new developments in my life this week. I have successfully been able to get from a lying down position to a sitting position without help. I first accomplished this when my mom looked away. I was on my back, she looked away and whammo, I was on my tush. This, of course, threw her for a loop. So, she whipped out the video camera and caught the second occurrence of this for you all to enjoy. As you can tell, I was very exciting about this milestone. I also did this one morning to surprise my mom. She came in to my bedroom to check on me and, ta-da, I’m sitting up in my crib.

My Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike flew in special to see me from San Jose, CA. I was the only reason they came in. It wasn’t for friends, family, birthdays, their anniversary or anything like that. It was for me and me only. So, the camera came out to capture the memories.
Please note, dad and I did not discuss shirt colors on the morning these pictures were taken. I had the yellow on before him.
I also got a bath before Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike arrived. I’ve become quite adept at splashing in the bathtub. Mom needs a towel after I’m done with her.
